A Cable modem or DSL connection offer the bandwidth and constant
connection needed to get your cams rolling at high speed and
streaming live!We have
found that while a DSL connection may provide the needed bandwidth
it is not the best for live streaming on custom web pages. What
happens is the provider will issue a new IP address just about
every time the DSL modem or router loses power. This makes it
necessary to change the web page each time power is lost - not
very convenient!
